OIL CHANGE SERVICE

An oil and filter change involves draining out the old motor oil and replacing it with fresh, new motor oil. The oil filter also gets replaced at the same time.  Changing your vehicle's oil is one of the most important things you can do to avoid taking large bags of money to your Technician later on.

However, there's a lot of controversy about exactly when engine oil gets old and how often it should be replaced with new oil. Because there are many factors at work — how you drive, the condition and age of the engine, the external environment you drive in, and stop-and-go versus motorway driving — it's an inexact science. Owner's manual recommendations for oil and filter changes vary so much so it’s always best to refer to your Owner’s Manual or you can always call us and we will offer you free advice on this. 

INTERIM AND FULL SERVICES

Regular servicing is an essential part of keeping your Vauxhall working at its best and our Service schedules are the ideal way to make sure your vehicle is being serviced at regular and recommended intervals.

They are based on the following interval times, which we recommend to ensure your Vauxhall stays in top condition:

• Cars/car-derived vans – one year or 20,000 miles (whichever occurs first)
• Vivaro - one year or 20,000 miles (whichever occurs first)
• New Movano – one year or 25,000 miles (whichever occurs first).

Our Service Schedules operate on a two-service cycle with your vehicle receiving an INTERIM service followed by a FULL/MAJOR service, for example:

• Year 1/20,000 miles – interim service
• Year 2/40,000 miles – full service
• Year 3/60,000 miles – interim service
• Year 4/80,000 miles – full service
